KEYT NewsChannel 3, an ABC affiliate, delivers breaking and local news to Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, Lompoc, Santa Ynez, Ventura and Oxnard.
My Role
I investigated and wrote 40+ stories for the weeknight newscasts and also assisted in the production booth for 30+ live, primetime news broadcasts. I contributed in rundown meetings, helped prepare lower third materials, and learned the key responsibilities of a news team while working alongside the News Director, producers, reporters, videographers, and editors.
